Gmail Gsuite saying Javascript error when trying to login in Outlook

Please ensure you are running on latest version of Citrix Files for Outlook. If the issue persists, you can Contact your IT department to add a value to the Registry.

1. Go to (or create the) following Registry path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION

1. Add a DWORD with the name "OUTLOOK.EXE"

2. Set the Hex value to "2af8"

With Office 365 or Outlook 2019 version 1808 10730.20102 or later, the Registry value for Browser Emulation above will automatically be reverted to the default value of 2711.

To override this value, please contact your IT department and follow the steps below.

1. Create Keys in this Registry path.  Please note this path is slightly different from the earlier mentioned path.​

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION

1. Create a DWORD with the name OUTLOOK.EXE
2. Add the value 2af8

Important:  If you are an IT or System Admin setting this value for virtual machines, you must create the Registry entry under  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
